Steps of the maintenance of a ski

Here various steps of maintenance of a ski in our stores Intersport:

"PONCAGE"



The ski is initially put flat with a traditional grinder provided with an arm of drive, of pressure controle, and of a variable speed transmission according to choice's of our technical advisers slips.


SURMOULAGE



The sole is stopped with of P-tex (plastic molten) if need be, using surmouleuse "intelligent" which locates itself the places with stopping. For the minor repairs, stopping is carried out using a gun.  After having let harden the matter, the surplus is sandpapered with the machine.


AFFUTAGE

Then, the cross-sections are sharpened on the fields with possibility of changing the degree of the angle. It is always necessary to think of removing the surplus of iron filings using gum.



















STONE COMPLETION

The ski passed on a machine to stone which will give it its final structure. The structure is defined beforehand by our technicians by an adequate diamantage according to the water content of snow (dry or wet).


WAXING

Last stage, the waxing which will ensure a quality of slips optimal. One will pass a brush nylon or metal to refine the preceding structure.
